Reliability and validity testing of the Chinese version of the Work Meaningfulness Scale among Chinese employees

Objective: To examine the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Work and Meaning Inventory (WAMI) among Chinese employees. Methods: The Chinese version of WAMI was administered to 662 employed individuals aged 18–68 years (M=33.846, SD=9.201), with work engagement, job satisfaction, job burnout, depression, anxiety, and stress as criterion measures; 76 employees were retested after 1 month.
