Key Influencing Factors of Academic Resilience and Social-Emotional Competence Resilience: A Quasi-Causal Analysis Based on Machine Learning and Inverse Probability Weighting Estimation

Children/adolescents who grow up in disadvantaged circumstances yet demonstrate excellent developmental outcomes are typically identified as "resilient children/adolescents," or as possessing a high level of resilience. This study systematically analyzes academic resilience and social-emotional competence resilience, utilizing the large international sample data from the OECD Survey on Social and Emotional Skills (N=54729), and explores key factors influencing resilience from three levels: students, parents, and schools.
