Based on P300, this test detects false identity information.

False identity information is one of the common methods used in criminal activities to disguise identities. It has become a significant issue in various fields, including public safety, forensic identification, and information security. Therefore, there is an urgent need for more accurate and reliable detection methods. This study combines Event-related Potentials (ERP) technology with the Concealed Information Test (CIT). Through three experimental systems, this study explores the effectiveness of P300 components in detecting false identity information. The experiment requires participants to memorize a set of fictional identity details, and then they are presented with random names during the CIT task.
