The impact of AI-based perspective divergence on group creativity, and its cognitive neural mechanisms

In the context of generative artificial intelligence being integrated into team collaboration, there is still a lack of research on how AI-generated ideas affect team creativity. This study designed a “dual-person-AI” collaboration scenario, where two individuals worked together with AI to complete both scientific and everyday creative tasks. The study aimed to explore the impact of AI-generated ideas on the novelty and practicality of team creations, as well as its effects on AI invocation strategies, idea selection processes, semantic features of ideas, synchronization between partners, and functional connections between individual brains.
