Analysis of Factors Affecting Health Literacy Among Residents in Jiangsu Province, Based on Logistic Regression and Random Forest Models

Objective: To construct multi-factor Logistic regression and random forest models to analyze the main factors influencing health literacy among residents in Jiangsu Province. This will provide theoretical support for health departments in formulating and implementing interventions aimed at improving health literacy. Methods: From June 2022 to April 2023, a multi-stage, stratified, simple random sampling method was used to select residents aged 15–69 years from various regions of Jiangsu Province for survey participation. The participants were randomly divided into a modeling group and a validation group in a ratio of 7:3.
